Exceptional mid-century modern (MCM) porcelain teapot with cute merry mushroom themed design. 1960-1970 time period and having a 'Made in Japan' foil sticker found on the bottom as shown. The lid has a mushroom on it that has a chunk of the paint missing from the upper section. This is the only flaw. The teapot has a wicker bale handle that is easily removed for cleaning and storage purposes. No damage authentic found (besides decal) and there are colorful mushroom shapes found on both sides of the teapot.
