She invites her viewers to share in that discovery and to participate further by finding their own symbolism and truths. Intrigued by the use of various water media, Sandy has embarked on a journey into abstract naturalism by applying non-traditional techniques. Reinterpreting nature and the structural world around us, in each painting she finds an adventure with surprising and mysterious results. In addition to the variety of media, she paints on yupo "paper" and other surfaces that add to the unpredictability and excitement of her work. Represented in many private and corporate collections, Sandy holds a BA from The University Of Arizona and a MFA from CSU Long Beach.
