Very nice quilt, very well made by hand. The stitching is a perfect hand stitch or treadle stitch, straight and even. It was signed by a Mrs. Moore in 1975, which is hard to see as it was done in red pen and probably washed, but after observing it for some time I could still see the original signature. This quilt was purchased at auction and from a mennonite establishment (where I get all of my handmade quilts) here in Virginia. It is a hard one to sell because of how pretty and perfect it is. I haven't washed it afraid that it will further diminish the signature, so it is slightly darker from dust. No rips, tears, or stains that I can see. SIZING: It is laid out on a King Size bed and goes over the edges slightly so it is definitely a King. Great condition authentic.
