*I'm listing items from a family estate. I'm not an expert or a reseller, so I've tried my best to describe the items, but please enlarge and refer authentic to the photos as their best representations.* This is a true Vintage treasure from the 1960s! It was fashion forward at the time…and is as cool a statement piece today as it was then. The wooden box purse is navy blue & covered in a combo of fun hand painting and decoupage imagery: yellow & red mushrooms, flowers & butterflies in green grass. Even if the initials on the top aren't yours, they add to the whimsy & authenticity of the vintage design. It's approx. 8” long x 7” tall (plus handle) x 5” wide. The navy leather handle is solidly attached & intact. The inside of the purse is decoupaged with a colorful floral paper. There are some minor flaws consistent with age & use, including a mark on one mushroom (see last photo), but the purse is still in overall great condition considering it's 55-60 yrs old and was used daily for years.
